We have taken appropriate safeguards against inconsistency of database state, loss of information and breach of security.

    4.1. Data Base Administration
    This policy is intended to avoid inconsistency and uncontrolled proliferation of     various versions of Databases.

    All creation / updates of the databases tables and attributes are subject to this     policy and happen in a controlled manner by the designated DB owner for that     project within the company.

    4.2. Data Backup and Security
    We have a very elaborate and comprehensive policy for maintaining backups. We     have DLT 8 GB Capacity Tape Backup drive and a laid down backup schedule. We     maintain redundancy and the tapes are placed in Safe Custody at 2 places i.e. in &     outside the office.

    We do not allow any compromise on this policy and as a result we have such     preparedness that if all our computers crash one morning, the whole company will     be up and running by the afternoon of the same day with the end of the previous     day copies, i.e. the latest versions of all the programs, data and important     documents.

    4.3. Network Security
    Our experienced Network Engineers have implemented strict security measures     including Firewall protection. These are reviewed periodically for keeping it     updated.

    4.4. Virus Control
    We have taken necessary measures that PC’s on our Network are not infected with     any viruses, either through our LAN or through Internet connectivity. We keep our     AntiVirus Softwares updated. It is frequently audited to ensure compliance.

5. Configuration Management / Version Control
We maintain proper version control, which is part of our Development process. Visual Source Safe (VSS) is being used for the same.
